Becoming Catholic

Initiation into the Catholic Church is through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), formerly known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This transformational process provides education in the Catholic faith to catechumens (those who are unbaptized) and candidates (those baptized from other denominations).
